WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Walnut Valley Festival has been bringing music fans to Winfield for 53 years, and while the main events don’t start until Thursday Sept. 17, some people just cannot wait until then.
“This is our 53rd year,” said Bart Redford, the Executive Director of the festival. “We’re primarily a music festival. We have about 30 performers, whether it be solo or bands that are coming in.”
