Monday looks mostly dry with highs bouncing back through the 80s with the lower 90s in Medicine Lodge. We will trend above average Monday and Tuesday before more active weather impacts the state.
Isolated showers and storms are possible in eastern Kansas on Tuesday with a greater concentration to the northwest by evening.
A Marginal Risk has been issued for parts of northern Kansas where a few strong to severe storms will be possible on Tuesday.
Once this wave forms, it will evolve into a complex that will track east/southeast and affect a large part of our viewing area. Rain and storms will be provided from Tuesday night through Wednesday.
Highs will fall below average from Wednesday into the weekend. Disturbances will keep us in an active stretch, targeting Friday and another round next Sunday. The more rain we add on later this week and next weekend, could enhance flooding concerns.
