TOPEKA (KSNT) — An administrative law judge has ruled against a local nurse, who was taking the Kansas Board of Nursing to court.
Back in 2024 Amy Siple, a nurse from Wichita, was accused of “Unprofessional Conduct” by the Kansas Board of Nursing. They believe, Siple was practicing without a nursing license. However, Siple tells us during this time, she had forgotten to renew her license because she was caring for her sick husband, who had been diagnosed with cancer.
Siple often gave speeches, and attended conferences during this time, but tells us she never saw any patients. Yet, the Board of Nursing elected to give her an “Unprofessional Conduct” demerit.
