WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita police responded to a disturbance call involving a weapon Friday evening that has led to several road closures.
The call came in around 6:49 p.m. in the 2500 block of West University. Officers were dispatched to the scene and blocked off multiple roads in the area. Police are asking drivers to avoid the neighborhood while the investigation is underway.
Authorities have not released information about what led up to the call or whether anyone has been injured.
