One person was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment after a two-vehicle crash on the Kansas Turnpike on Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at 3 pm at mile marker 105 southbound, between the Matfield Green service exit and Flint Hills cattle pens exit and 22 miles southwest of Emporia. Troopers say an SUV driven by 31-year-old Ryan Joseph Sauls of Wichita went into the center barrier wall as Sauls lost control.
