Woman gets jail time for fight in Kansas courtroom

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A woman who admitted responsibility for a fight that broke out in Sedgwick County Chief Judge Jeffrey Goering’s courtroom will spend time in jail.

This week 49-year-old Janet Dees pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney. She was sentenced to five days in jail.
