Motorcycle crash on Kansas Turnpike exit ramp seriously injures rider

SUMNER COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A 69-year-old El Dorado man was seriously injured Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle crashed on the Kansas Turnpike.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after noon on the southbound exit ramp at mile marker 19 in Sumner County.

Troopers report that the rider was going too fast to negotiate the curve. His 2005 Harley-Davidson Screaming Eagle left the road and crashed into the grass.
