Big Biscuit breakfast chain has also chosen site for its east Wichita restaurant

It’s been a big week for news about The Big Biscuit.

We now know where the fourth of four corporate-owned locations of the Kansas City-based breakfast chain The Big Biscuit will open. It’s taking over the spot at 7777 E. 21st St. where Wichita’s first-ever Jimmy’s Egg opened. That restaurant closed in June.

An active restaurant real estate watcher in Wichita, Joshua Alexander, noticed recently that the address was listed on Google as a future site of The Big Biscuit, and a spokesperson for the chain confirmed today that the information was correct. There should be more information next week about a timeline for the Rock Road restaurant.

Earlier this week, the same spokesperson for The Big Biscuit confirmed that the just-closed IHOP restaurant building at 1906 N. Rock Road in Derby would also be transformed into a Big Biscuit restaurant. He estimated that it would be ready by the second half of next year…
