Driver in crash that killed Kan. deputy still waiting to learn his fate

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A driver involved in a fatal crash that killed a Kansas Sheriff’s Deputy expected to learn his fate Friday.

For the second week, the sentencing for Kelvin Burgett, 28, Prescott Valley, Arizona scheduled for Judge William Wooley’s courtroom was coninued, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.
