Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Sly!
Meet Sly, a sweet 10-year-old Lab mix! Don’t let his age fool you—this handsome boy still has plenty of pep and gets around wonderfully. Sly is the definition of a good boy—he goes right outside to potty and comes right back in, no fuss at all. He loves having his own cozy spot in the house where he can relax, but his favorite thing in the world is cuddling with his people. He’s not fond of other pets, so he’d love to be the only four-legged friend in your home. His absolute favorite treat? Peanut butter crackers!
Sly may be overlooked because of his age, but he has so much love and loyalty to give. To help him find his forever home, Sly’s adoption fee has been fully sponsored! Please look past the number and see the heart—Sly is ready to be your best friend.Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!…
