Authorities in Butler County are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at El Dorado Lake early Monday morning.
Butler County emergency communications received reports of a shooting at the Goose Cove Campground around 4:30 on Monday morning. When Butler County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, they found 57-year-old Rodney Logan of Augusta unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Logan died at the scene.
63-year-old Jeffrey Boucher was taken into custody in connection to the shooting. Deputies say Boucher told investigators that he had shot Logan five times following an altercation between the two men…
