‘Don’t fall for it’: Scammers spoofing Derby police

DERBY, Kan. (KSNW) — Derby police have issued a warning about scammers spoofing their phone number to demand money from unsuspecting residents.

The police department emphasized that they will never call people to demand payment instead of arrest, urging the public to be cautious and not to “fall for it.”
