WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Four young adults were injured in an early morning shooting Sunday.
Just before 3 a.m., officers with the Wichita Police Department were called to a local hospital after multiple shooting victims walked in. There, officers found several people suffering from gunshot wounds:
- A 21-year-old man was shot in the lower leg and is in stable condition.
- A 22-year-old woman was shot in the lower leg and is in stable condition.
- A 19-year-old man was shot in the midsection and is in stable condition.
- A 26-year-old man was shot in the upper body and remains in critical condition.
Police say a preliminary investigation shows the victims were inside a vehicle at the intersection of Clifton Avenue and Morris Street when an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at them.
