Burger Central reopens after car crashes through window

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A popular Wichita burger joint has reopened after a car crashed through the front window Tuesday morning.

The owner of Burger Central tells KSN that he was notified around 7 a.m. that a driver had crashed through a large glass window of the restaurant, located at Central and Zoo Blvd in west Wichita. He says it was a teenager, and the teenager was not hurt.

“His parents, they talked to me,” said owner Pavan Reddy. “And he is glad he is OK. That was one of the big scary things because we don’t want anybody getting hurt.”

Reddy says Burger Central will have extremely limited seating for the near future, and asks regulars to rely on online orders and the drive-thru until repairs are completed…
