Halloween won’t be a trick or a treat across Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a frosty morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Later today looks much nicer than recently as bright blue skies and light winds will be accompanied by milder highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

As temperatures tumble in the middle 30s tonight, patchy frost is possible on Friday morning. Otherwise, Halloween won’t be awful or awesome, it will be somewhere in between. Early evening temperatures in the upper 50s will fall into the upper 40s by 10 p.m. but skies will be quiet, and winds will be light.

A cold start to the weekend on Saturday morning will slowly turn around later in the day and more so on Sunday. Highs in the lower to middle 50s on Saturday will be followed by upper 50s and lower 60s on Sunday. The bonus will be light winds and mainly sunny skies…
