Kansas food pantries struggling to keep up with demand as SNAP benefits run out

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Organizations around Kansas are stepping up to put food on the table with SNAP benefits not being distributed in November.

Thousands of Kansans are being affected by these cuts. A Newton grocery store that accepts SNAP said that their EBT sales were cut in half from September to October.
