It’s time to break out this year’s list of The ICT 100: Wichita’s Best Restaurants. This is your annual guide to celebrate the industry’s best in the city.
Creating The ICT 100: Wichita’s Best Restaurant List
Originally, this list was going to be solely based off my experiences, as I’ve eaten at every restaurant at the time the list was put together. At the same time, I wanted to involve the input of others from readers and bloggers who also support our local dining scene. After some thought, I chose the latter because I felt the need to make sure the list was inclusive of multiple opinions. After all, who doesn’t love a good local collaboration?
There was one rule to be considered on this list:
- To be considered for The ICT 100, Wichita restaurants with a brick & mortar location had to be open during the voting period of September and October. Food trucks and pop-ups were not included, along with any restaurant outside the Wichita city limits.
- New this year, bakeries and dessert shops were removed but will have a special addendum section after the unveiling along with other non-restaurant establishments that focus more on beverages.
How the Unveiling Will Take Place
Check back every day. Twenty new restaurants will be unveiled in no particular order. All this culminating with the ICT 100, along with a new addition we have that covers non-restaurants such as coffee and dessert spots…
