Resource: Food pantries in Butler and Sedgwick counties

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Approximately 186,000 to 188,000 people in Kansas receive SNAP benefits, which accounts for about 6% to 6.3% of the state’s population, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities analysis of data from the USDA Food and Nutrition Service.

As of November 1, nearly 90,000 to 94,000 households in the state may suffer food insecurity. 12 News has compiled a list of food resources available for families in need in Sedgwick and Butler counties.
