Kan. registered offender jailed for shooting that left victim with critical injuries

SEDGWICK COUNTY— Wichita Police arrested a suspect early Monday morning in connection with a shooting that left another man seriously injured in south Wichita.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of South Broadway, according to a media release. When officers arrived, they located a 33-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital in serious condition.

As the investigation continued into the morning, officers later located the suspect identified in county booking records as 39-year-old Larry D. Jordan in the 4500 block of South Broadway.
