WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita native and five-time Grammy award-winning artist, Joe Walsh, had a street renamed after him on Friday.
City leaders gathered outside Intrust Bank Arena at the intersection of English and St. Francis to rename a portion of English Street to Joe Walsh Way.
Wichita Mayor Lilly Wu says Walsh’s impact goes far beyond his career, recognizing him for his work supporting military veterans through the national VetsAid organization.
