Two big arena shows
Friday and Saturday, Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman
It’ll be a busy weekend for Intrust Bank Arena, which will be the site of two big concerts over two nights. On Saturday, The Eagles’ Joe Walsh, a Wichita native, will headline a 6 p.m. fundraising concert called VetsAid that will also include performances by Nathaniel Rateliff, Susan Tedeschi & Derek Truck, Vince Gill, and Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentleman. Tickets start at $52. Then on Sunday, Grammy-winning vocal group Pentatonix will bring its “Christmas in the City Tour” to the arena stage at 7 p.m. Tickets are $51 to $379. Flea Market weekend
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, Century II Exhibition Hall
The Wichita Flea Market is back at Century II’s Exhibition Hall this weekend and will last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. It will feature more than 300 vendors selling items like crafts, antiques, jewelry, clothing and home decor. This month’s event also will include a scavenger hunt with cash prizes as well as appearances by Santa, Snow White and Olaf from “Frozen.” Admission is $4 for a one-day pass and $5 for a two-day pass.
