1 pedestrian dead following crash on K-15

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A car versus pedestrian crash that happened early Sunday morning left one person dead.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office reports that the crash took place near K-15 Highway and MacArthur Road. At 12:33 a.m., a Sedgwick County Sheriff’s deputy saw a collision on southbound K-15. A 33-year-old man from Newton had been struck by a car and had critical injuries.

Sedgwick County EMS and Sedgwick County Fire District 1 responded to the scene while the deputy was performing life-saving measures. The victim was transported to a Wichita hospital where he died…
