‘No stuffing required’: Wichita high school pardons turkey in agriculture program

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita Southeast High School held a turkey pardoning ceremony on Tuesday.

The principal of the school, Connie Redic, led the ceremony and officially pardoned Pearl, the school turkey, saying that Pearl will now be “free to live her best turkey life, no stuffing required.”

Pearl is one of the animals that students care for as part of Southeast’s Agriculture Science program…
