HASTINGS, Neb. — A Kansas woman has been charged with attempting to fraudulently obtain a prescription at a Hastings pharmacy.
Zohran Shah, 26, of Wichita, Kansas, is charged in Adams County Court with intentionally violating a narcotic drug law, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
According to an arrest affidavit, on Nov. 12, a sergeant with the Hastings Police Department received an email from a Nebraska State Patrol investigator advising him of ongoing fraudulent prescription call-ins reported by multiple pharmacies across the state…
