A Wichita museum showcases antique Santa dolls for Christmas

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum is bringing in the Christmas spirit with its annual Moore Family Santa Dolls display.

For the last 17 years, the museum has exhibited a small portion of the Moore collection, which features antique Santa dolls for the public to admire.

The collection highlights the changes in Santa’s likeness and popularity throughout history. Additionally, the collection features stuffed toys as well as figurines made of plastic, metal, rubber, and papier-mache.
