Two arrested after teen reports being robbed at gunpoint at Wichita McDonald’s

Two people have been arrested for their suspected involvement in an armed robbery at a Wichita McDonald’s early Wednesday morning.

Just before 4 a.m. on Dec. 3, Wichita police were alerted to an armed robbery at the 21st and Amidon McDonald’s, according to Sedgwick County Emergency Communications 911 scanner traffic. Scanner traffic is preliminary and may be incorrect, so it should be treated as unconfirmed.

An 18-year-old Wichita man said he was robbed at gunpoint in the 2200 block of N. Amidon by a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, Wichita Police Department Public Information Officer Brad Wright wrote in an email to The Eagle.
