Sentencing delayed again for Kan. man who tried to drown pregnant girlfriend

SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas man convicted of a violent attack on a teen, later identified as his girlfriend, was to learn his fate on Friday.

The sentencing hearing for 24-year-old Dominic Thomas was continued until after Christmas, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office. He is scheduled to return to court on December 29. A scheduled hearing for Thomas was also delayed in November.
