WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita police said a 69-year-old pedestrian died Monday after being hit by a car. It happened at Meridian and McCormick around 6 a.m.
Police said the man, who was in a crosswalk, was hit by an Infiniti heading south on Meridian. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died a short time later. His identity hasn’t been released.
Police said the driver was cooperative, and there was no indication of speed or DUI.
