Wichita middle school teaches students responsible AI usage

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A middle school in Wichita is educating its students on how to use AI ethically and make the most of its capabilities.

“AI is a new technology and a new resource that is available to everyone in society, and so it’s very important that we teach kids how to use it ethically, how to use it responsibly, when they should use it, when they shouldn’t use it,” said Katelyn Sahoenhofer, an AI specialist with USD 259.
