SUV driver injured in fiery collision with northeast Wichita home

An SUV driver was taken to a Wichita hospital Thursday afternoon after hitting a home and having the vehicle and dwelling catch on fire, the Wichita Fire Department said.

WFD didn’t say on a social media post what caused the crash, which happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of N. Fox Pointe Circle, which is in a development near 29th and Webb in northeast Wichita.
