WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Since 2014, First Student employees have worked to ensure their students have gifts to open on Christmas.
Wichita school bus drivers and monitors identify students in need and either shop for gifts themselves or donate. This year, First Student delivered more than 150 gifts to nearly 30 students.
“Relationships are built when you have the same driver and monitor every day at school, talking to the kids and understanding their needs and what their family might need in times like this,” senior location manager Kary Vixon said.
