Sedgwick County Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News this has been a “really busy” year for the county. He says there are several good success stories, but he says the biggest accomplishment is in the county work force. He says the work force has been “stabilized”, with more than 93 percent staffing at the county. That means improved public safety.
Baty says there are plenty of challenges for the year ahead. “How do we look at some of the juvenile issues facing families”, such as juvenile crime and foster care?
