More ups and downs

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Very mild, late December weather continues into New Year’s Eve Day, but a cold front will push in by Thursday morning. There’s no threat of any rain or snow, but temperatures will cool down a bit on New Year’s Day.

A sunny forecast is coming up Wednesday, making for good travel weather. Some low clouds and fog may develop along I-70 and I-135 early Thursday, but most of the area should have decent travel conditions. Clouds will take over throughout the day on New Year’s Day.

At the end of the week, much milder air spreads back in over the weekend and by Sunday, some areas will be back up near 60. Dry weather continues over the next week, but a storm system will approach from the Southwest by the end of next week…
