WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The CDC currently lists Kansas as having high flu activity levels. The latest data is for the week before Christmas, before most family gatherings take place.
Across the US, hospitalizations have nearly doubled from the CDC report a week prior.
With many holiday gatherings taking place across the country, people in Wichita said that illness wouldn’t necessarily stop them from getting together with family, but they might take a few precautions if they do.
