SEDGWICK COUNTY—A man accused in a deadly home-invasion shooting on Christmas weekend has made his first court appearance.
On New Year’s Eve, Matthew D. Morgan, 54, was charged with second-degree murder, according to the Sedgiwck County District Attorney’s office.
Just before 8:30 p.m. December 27, police responded to a home in the 100 block of North Ash in Wichita, according to a media release. When officers arrived, they found a 52-year-old man and 67-year-old man inside the home with gunshot wounds.
