Wichita nonprofits see surge in uninsured patients after ACA subsidies expire

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – People who had health insurance just weeks ago are now calling Wichita nonprofits asking for help as the ripple effect from expired Affordable Care Act subsidies takes hold.

Organizations like Carin Health say they are already seeing an increase of uninsured patients.
