WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Weather Alert Day has been declared for Friday due to an incoming winter storm expected to affect the state from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Southwest Kansas is forecasted to receive the most snow with at least 2 to 3 inches, while areas farther east will see lower amounts. Wichita should get up to an inch of snow.
The morning drive should be fine and the evening drive should not be bad, but slushy and wet roads are expected into the night…
