A Derby hospital that recently filed for bankruptcy announced Wednesday that it will close immediately, despite a previous plan to continue operations.
Rock Regional Hospital in Derby filed for bankruptcy Dec. 7, citing between $50 million and $100 million in liabilities, including more than $23 million due in rent payments to the hospital’s landlord.
