WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Trash accumulating along the Arkansas River downtown has prompted calls from residents for city action, particularly near the Lincoln Street Bridge where plastic debris and other litter line the riverwalk.
Matilde Rojas, who lives near the riverwalk off Lincoln Street and uses it daily, said the problem worsens each day.
“Every single day is worse. It’s worse because a lot of people walk over here and they just throw the trash. They don’t care,” Rojas said…
