WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The stars of “Water for Elephants,” Zachary Keller and Helen Krushinski, stopped by KSN News at Noon on Monday to talk about the musical’s arrival in Wichita.
The story is set in America during the Great Depression in 1931.
“It’s about a young man who, after losing everything that matters most in his life, decides to hop on a train, and he comes to find out that it’s a traveling circus,” Keller said. “And so it’s really a story about chosen family. There’s a love story baked in there.”
