WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a seasonably cold morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 20s. However, later today springtime temperatures return to the state as highs climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
After a mild Tuesday in the lower to middle 60s, and a record high or two, the first of two cold fronts will sweep across the state on Tuesday night. While a sprinkle or shower cannot be ruled out, the bigger story will be the gusty north winds and highs in the 30s and 40s on Wednesday.
A second and stronger Arctic cold front will arrive on Friday sending our temperatures down even farther. Highs in the lower 40s on Friday will be followed by highs in the 20s and 30s on Saturday. While a flurry or two is possible, the story will once again be the gusty winds…
