WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A cold front moving through Kansas this morning, bringing dangerously cold conditions and gusty northwest winds that will make it feel even colder than the actual temperature.
Expect wind chills near or below zero, especially this morning and again through the afternoon and early evening. While the winds won’t be quite as strong as Friday, they’ll still be noticeable and make the cold feel much more intense. Afternoon temperatures will only be in the teens and 20s.
Good news: Sunday will be noticeably milder. Afternoon highs will climb into the 40s and low 50s, giving you a chance to catch your breath and thaw out before another system moves in…
