Exploration Place unveils new mind-bending exhibit

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Exploration Place announced the debut of its newest exhibition on Wednesday — Illusions.

The exhibit features a 50-foot-tall angled mirror, which makes guests look as if they’re scaling a building, and a room that makes people appear giant and tiny.

“Great illusions sit right at the intersection of science and wonder,” said Adam Smith, President and CEO of Exploration Place, in a news release. “They’re playful, surprising and deeply rooted in how the brain works. This exhibition is magical for kids, fascinating for adults, and endlessly interactive for everyone.”
