Friend’s quick action saves teen from sledding mishap in Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A 15-year-old boy was rescued by the Newton Fire/EMS Department on Saturday after falling into a narrow hole while sledding.

Upon arrival, first responders found the boy with just his fingertips visible at ground level.

After being pulled from the hole, the boy was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, where he was later released.
