It has been a chilly day across the Sunflower State. Temperatures struggled to make it out of the teens. Southwest Kansas was our warm spot with highs in the twenties.
The bulk of the snowfall wrapped up early this morning, but with such cold temperatures, we will not see much melting. The snowpack is thickest across central Kansas, and this will work to keep temperatures cooler for the next few days.
Western Kansas will see another piece of energy late tonight that could bring a bit more moisture.
The snow will be patchy to light with minimal accumulations.
Overnight lows fall back below zero! Bundle up as you head out the door tomorrow, wind chills will be as cold as negative ten to twenty.
Cold Weather Advisories remain in place through noon on Monday.
We warm back into the 20s tomorrow and continue to climb from there. Skies will be clear with a light breeze.
Highs reach back above freezing by Tuesday before another up and down trend arrives through the weekend.
