WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man who was fatally stabbed in Delano was identified by Wichita police on Tuesday.
The Wichita Police Department announced that 28-year-old Jon Berkenmeier of Wichita was found with stab wounds near Maple Street and McLean Boulevard on Monday night. He died after officers tried to provide CPR.
Police said when the stabbing was reported, a drone was deployed to the area, which helped make responding officers more aware of what was going on.
