Snow returns Friday along with more cold

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Light snow and some flurries will return on Friday, but amounts are going to be very light and most roads should remain clear throughout the day. It will be turning colder once again, with another push of Arctic air set to arrive into the start of the weekend.

Highs on Friday will be in the 20s (central Kansas), but across western Kansas several areas with no snow on the ground could warm into the 30s. North winds will increase a bit, but gusts will remain below 20 mph.

Expect the coldest day in the near future to be Saturday with highs in the teens and 20s. Even morning lows could dip below zero. However, as south winds begin to return for the afternoon, it will start to push the bitter cold out of the area…
