WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A small single-engine plane crashed attempting to take off in Butler County on Saturday morning.
Kansas Highway Patrol says that at around 10 a.m., a 2023 Cessna Skyhawk started tracking towards the left side of the runway at Augusta Municipal Airport.
Despite trying to straighten, the aircraft left the runway and went into the snow, flipping onto its top. KHP says the plane tried to take off three times before the crash…
