We are about a week and a half away until Johnny’s Tavern opens it’s Wichita location when it takes over the former Anchor space at 1109 E. Douglas.
Wichita By E.B. was the first to break word of the potential arrival of the popular Lawrence hangout. We can now safely say the opening date is officially set for Friday, February 20.
I was recently invited to come take a look inside and I’ll admit, a part of me is sad to see The Anchor gone, but everything cannot last forever and it’s time to prepare for what’s next…
