WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The city of Wichita held a ribbon cutting on Monday for the new Pracht Wetlands playground.
The park is in northwest Wichita, near 29th Street and Maize Road. The goal of the playground is to blend outdoor play with environmental education.
“Seems like in the Park Master Plan, people want more open spaces with nature, and this is a perfect example of that,” said JV Johnston, Wichita City Councilmember. “So to develop this park, further develop, and to actually finish it up would be wonderful. I think people would love it.”…
